Technical Content Writer

YOUR ROLE:

• The Technical Content Writer takes care of the creation and publishing of various tech-related content pieces that help educate and engage existing or potential clients, and increase SiteGround’s product and brand awareness. If you do not have a technical background, but are skilled in explaining technical problems and concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language for non-technical audiences, and are versed in writing in a clear and thorough way that anyone can understand, this role is for you!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Obtain a deep understanding of SiteGround's and our competitor companies' products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging educational content;
• Develop and maintain comprehensive Knowledge Base, Tutorial and Academy content for multiple products that meets organizational standards;
• Work together with our Content and SEO team to evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement;
• Break down complex technical problems into steps and directions that set our users up for success;
• Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand user needs and requirements;

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

• Еxcellent, near native command of English;
• Minimum 3 years of experience planning and writing technical educational content for multiple audiences;
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail;
• Thorough research and understanding of every topic before you tackle it;
• Good understanding of SEO principles and digital writing specifics;
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in a product software company, including client-facing and applied AI products;
• Prior experience working within WordPress.
