WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

1. Middleware Architecture

  • Full responsibility for the middleware architecture within the Mendix platform

  • Design, extension, and maintenance of Middleware components for backend system integration

  • Ensure performance, security, and stability of the middleware layer

  • Define technical standards and interfaces for platform integration

  • Ensure overall quality and stability of Applications

2. Technical Implementation (Senior Developer)

  • Develop complex applications using the Mendix Low-Code Platform

  • Design architecture and take technical ownership of end-to-end solutions

  • Ensure scalability, reusability, and Maintainability of applications

  • Integrate third-party systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, REST/SOAP APIs)

  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentoring to junior developers

3. Requirements Management (Product Owner)

  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements from European and Indian stakeholder groups

  • Create and maintain the product backlog in close collaboration with business and development Teams

  • Conduct workshops and demos to validate requirements

  • Collaborate closely with nearshore and offshore teams (e.g., India)

4. Business Process Modeling

  • Model and optimize business processes using BPMN 2.0 or similar notations

  • Translate business processes into digital workflows within the Mendix platform

Support process automation and digitalization initiatives

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

  • Experience as a Product Owner or in requirements gathering

  • Strong knowledge of Business Process Modeling (e.g., BPMN)

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)

  • Ability to understand complex software landscapes

  • Experiences developing with Mendix or similar low-code platforms is an advantage

Technical Skills:

  • Design Pattern and Best Practices in Software Development are well known

  • REST/SOAP API integration

  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

  • Expertise in middleware architecture and System Integration

  • Dealing with Mendix Low-Code is an advantage

  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL is an advantage

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (German nice to have)

  • Intercultural competence, especially in working with Indian teams

  • Analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset

  • Independent and structured working style
