CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, MN)

The hours for this position are 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. and may be required to work overtime during a crisis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will focus on responding to consumer inquiries via phone, website, email and chat.

• Responds to consumer contacts, (800# calls, letters, chat and e-mails) to help maintain consumer brand loyalty by providing consumer satisfaction through knowledgeable, appropriate and timely response.
• Act as a company spokesperson by professionally responding to a variety of consumer questions about specific products, to include all advertising and promotions associated with each product.
• Will be trained on all product lines and our specific software application.
• Maintains reference information for specific products.
• Will have the opportunity to cross-sell for all Hormel Foods brands and subsidiaries.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 Required

• Strong Customer Service Skills.
• Maturity of judgment.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.

Preferred

• Familiarity with the Company's products.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.  The base hiring pay range for this role is between $20.25-$28.50 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
