Your role and responsibilities 

 

Engage directly with individuals to understand risk, develop safety plans, and establish their wishes regarding safeguarding enquiries.

  • Gather and request relevant information from partner agencies across the MASH
  • Advocate for individuals’ needs, wishes, and best interests throughout the safeguarding process
  • Present clear, concise information and analysis in strategy meetings
  • Provide advice and guidance to professionals via the Professional Consultation Line
  • Liaise effectively with teams across Adult Social Care to support coordinated safeguarding responses

 

You will need 

     Strong and confident communicator
•     Experience working in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced team environment
•     Proven ability to multi‑task and manage competing priorities
•     Skilled in using Liquid Logic and maintaining accurate case records

The team

This one‑year secondment or fixed‑term contract within our Adult MASH offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your safeguarding expertise while working at the centre of a fast‑paced, multi‑agency environment. You’ll be part of a supportive, knowledgeable team where professional curiosity is essential.  The role involves speaking directly with individuals to understand their circumstances, undertaking risk assessments, and contributing to robust safety planning. You’ll also play an active role in multi‑agency decision‑making, building strong relationships with key partners across health, police, and wider social care. Based at Landmark House with a hybrid working model (40% office‑based), this position provides the ideal opportunity to develop skills whilst making a meaningful difference to adults at risk.
