The Complexity Science Hub Policy Workshop (Vienna, 4–5 May 2026) brings together policy-makers, established scholars, and complexity researchers to discuss how academic research can engage with and inform policy.The workshop is designed for PhD students and early-career researchers who want to learn how policy actors work, what kinds of evidence they find useful, and how to build practical links between research and policy.

- Develop a stronger understanding of how policymaking works, and how and where academic research can contribute.
- Learn how to connect their research with policymaking processes, and to policy reports.
- Build connections with other early-career researchers and with the policy community.
