A well-established international manufacturer specializing in pressure relief valves is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / CAM Specialist to join its technical and production team. The company provides manufacturing, repair, and custom design services for military, industrial, and commercial applications, offering a variety of valve products and related solutions.
Position OverviewThe CNC Programmer / CAM Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing CAM programs, supporting CNC machining operations, and assisting with product development and production optimization. The role requires proficiency in CAD/CAM software, the ability to analyze G-Code, and a strong understanding of manufacturing principles.

The role requires proficiency in CAD/CAM software, the ability to analyze G-Code, and a strong understanding of manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new CAM programs using Mastercam for mill and turning operations
- Analyze and optimize G-Code for CNC machines
- Design and modify 3D models and tooling setups using CAD software (Inventor preferred)
- Create effective work-holding and fixture designs to support machining operations
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient workflow and product quality
- Apply manufacturing experience to troubleshoot and improve CNC machining processes
- Support both prototype and production runs, ensuring compliance with specifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a power CAD user
- Hands-on experience with Mastercam, including Mill 3D and turning (single spindle)
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret G-Code
- Experience with 3D modeling and CAD software (Inventor preferred)
- Work-holding and fixturing design experience
- Prior experience in CNC machining or manufacturing environment
