We are looking for an experienced Water Technician to join our Water Infrastructure Maintenance team. Day to day you will be completing repairs and maintenance of existing water mains, service lines, hydrants and tobies with our existing water crews throughout the network.

In addition to the above you will:

• Connections on both commercial and residential properties including backflow preventers installation

• Undertake pipe installations installation and maintenance using small and large plant equipment

• Pressure testing and sterilising of new mains before connection to existing networks

• Installation of valves, hydrants and associated water main fittings

• This role will require some flexibility as there is some overtime and optional weekend work when required

We’re looking for someone with:

• Minimum full class 2 licence

• Level 3 or 4 Water Qualification is preferable

• Experience with PE pipe works (pipe welding) is an advantage

• Experience working within 3 Waters maintenance

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Be a self-motivated and friendly team player

• Be fit and able to get hands on and get the work done

• A commitment to your safety and the safety of others
