Now Hiring: Rental Agent

• Pay: $17-18 per hour

• Schedule: Full Time, Tuesday through Saturday, with Sunday & Monday Off. However, ideal candidates will have open availability to work any day of the week.

• Service Dept. Business Hours: Monday through Sunday, 7 to 6

As a Rental Agent you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout the rental process. interact and consult with customers to guide them through their vehicle rental.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in person, via email and by phone promptly with the goal of providing an exceptional guest experience.

• Communicate rental car quotes based on rates, estimated mileage, optional services and any requested insurance. Explain all policies and procedures.

• Prepare all rental contracts and return documents accurately and completely.

• Ensure cars are ready for the next client.

• Responsible for daily cash and credit transactions, balancing and reconciling rental car account/s.

• Explaining loaner vehicle policy to customers at time of agreement

• Validate customer credentials (driver’s license, insurance, etc.)

• Inspecting and ensuring vehicles are clean inside and out.

• Perform proper vehicle walk-around and document any damage (Departure and arrival).

• Managing loaner vehicle fleet.

• Taking care of vehicles in the service area and ensuring all vehicles are clean and ready for delivery to customers.

• Delivers vehicles to sites and locations as required.

• Thoroughly clean (wash, vacuum and polish) and maintain all vehicles.

• Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the store, showroom and lot.​

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the rental car industry, is a plus

• A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service

• Excellent organizational, time management & communication skills

• Working knowledge of computers

• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

The expected pay range for this position is $17-18 (Hourly). Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
