Summary

We are seeking a versatile and strategic IT Director to serve as the critical link between our diverse business units and our internal IT organization. This leadership role is designed for a professional who can translate business vision into technical reality. You will manage IT demand across multiple functions, ensuring that technology investments are prioritized, integrated, and deliver maximum value to the organization. As a key advisor to both business and technical teams, you will foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary strategic interface between internal IT teams and various business units to understand, capture, and prioritize technology needs.
  • Demand & Portfolio Management: Oversee the intake process for new IT requests, providing clarity on scope, resource requirements, and business impact.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure IT roadmaps are synchronized with the company’s broader operational and financial goals.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direct oversight and mentorship to a team of IT professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on professional growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate communication between infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure seamless delivery of enterprise-wide solutions.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to modernize legacy processes and implement scalable technologies that improve the employee and customer experience.
  • Resource Optimization: Evaluate competing work demands and navigate resource constraints to ensure the highest-value initiatives receive priority.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT leadership with a track record of supporting diverse business functions (e.g., HR, Finance, Operations, or Marketing).
  • Demonstrated experience in Portfolio Management or IT Business Partnering within a multi-departmental environment.

Communication Skills:

  • Exceptional ability to bridge the "communication gap"—translating complex technical architecture into business value and vice versa.
  • Proven expertise in presenting strategic roadmaps and business cases to executive leadership.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Broad understanding of modern IT ecosystems, including cloud infrastructure, SaaS integrations, and data analytics.
  • Strong financial acumen for managing departmental budgets and ROI analysis for IT projects.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate organizational complexity.
