Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of C++ and Go is considered significant given our current tech stack.

You will work across Google to build systems and processes that manage these disruptions, ensuring a smooth and efficient maintenance experience for all customers across a wide variety of workloads, from general-purpose compute to the Google AI hypercomputer. You will be committed to delivering innovative solutions like Maintenance Block Service and Maintenance Manager, which provides customers with greater control over maintenance windows and minimize disruptions to critical workloads.Google is an engineering company at heart. Responsibilities
- Develop product or system code and review code created by other developers, providing feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug, track, and resolve them by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Design and implement scalable, and efficient software components for Google Cloud-based platforms, primarily within the GCE Node organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner, and contribute to the architectural design and technical direction of systems within the evolving Google Cloud ecosystem.
