Technical Program Manager, ML Fleet Planning and Operations

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in program, project management, strategy and operations or a related field.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with data center, network, or machine learning infrastructure planning and deployment.
• Ability to identify, break down, and solve ambiguous processes and technical problems that span across many teams and organizations.
• Ability to represent projects from business, product, and technical perspectives to the highest levels of the company.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

We aspire to establish industry-leading planning methodologies that are adaptable, transparent, and seamlessly integrated across the ML Fleet ecosystem.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Be responsible for developing and maintaining sophisticated demand models, analyzing trends, and collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders across product areas (PAs), research, and engineering to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
• Influence multi-billion dollar investment decisions and ensure that our capacity planning and supply chain are aligned with Google's strategic AI objectives.
• Navigate a complex, data-rich environment.
• Forecast the complex and rapidly evolving demand for Google's ML infrastructure.
