We are looking for Electrical Engineer capable of operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing, multi-platform production environment. Our Electrical Engineers design and develop PCBAs and breakout boards for complex electrical systems, manage and develop test plans and lead strategies across numerous platforms and architectures.
As an Electrical Engineer on our team, you will be a key member of the development team and will be the main interface with the internal Operations team as well as our Contract Manufacturers (CM).

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Design and develop PCBAs and breakout boards for complex electrical systems
* Create detailed electrical schematics using industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD)
* Review and provide feedback on PCB layouts to ensure signal integrity, power distribution, and manufacturability
* Interface directly with PCBA manufacturers to communicate design requirements, specifications, and quality standards
* Review and approve manufacturing documentation including assembly drawings, BOMs, and fabrication files
* Validate prototype and production boards through systematic testing and debugging
* Identify and resolve electrical issues through root cause analysis and design iterations
* Define comprehensive test strategies for electrical systems and components
* Design test methods and fixtures for board-level and system-level validation
* Develop test plans that ensure production scalability and manufacturing efficiency
* Create clear documentation of test procedures and validation results
* Debug PCBAs and electrical components using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment
* Troubleshoot signal integrity issues, power distribution problems, and component failures
* Implement design improvements based on validation findings and field feedback
About the team
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in PCBA design and development
- Experience in schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, or similar)
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design principles
- Experience with high-speed differential signals and multi-domain power systems
- Experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, etc.)
- Experience with PCB manufacturing processes, DFM principles, and industry standards (IPC)
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and managing supplier relationships
- Experience in developing systematic validation methodologies
- Experience designing test fixtures and breakout boards for electrical validation
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field- Experience with signal integrity simulation tools (Keysight ADS, HyperLynx, or similar)
- Familiarity with production test systems and automated test equipment
- Experience with sensor interfaces and analog signal conditioning
- Understanding of component selection, sourcing, and lifecycle management
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing)
- Ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret PCB layouts
- Strong debugging skills with methodical problem-solving approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
