Bosch Rexroth, Fountain Inn is a company in the Bosch Rexroth Drives and Controls Group and represents the North American development, manufacture and sale of axial piston pumps and motors for hydrostatic, hydraulic drive systems. It has its lead plants in Elchingen and Horb, Germany. Hydrostatic drives are used across industries in a vast range of mobile and stationary applications.

Job Description

This co-op will be able to work directly with the Industrial Engineers and Facilities Engineers and teams to help develop and sustain ongoing projects related to tracking open/closed maintenance orders, CCS and Facility work orders through a front-end systems that connects with SAP and OPRA system.

The co-op could be working on facilities projects such as procurement, installation and start-up of coolant systems, paint lines and relocation of milling/turning machines for proper cell and value stream layout. 

The candidate could work with 2-3 different engineering mentors at a time depending on the project scopes.

The rotation would be summer, spring, fall in that sequence to continue ongoing projects from previous rotation or start new projects altogether. 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field
  • Knowledge in:
    • Solid Works Design or AutoCad
    • PowerBI 
    • Visual Basic 
    • Python or C programming is a plus 
  • Minimum GPA 2.5
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic understanding of business process analysis and industrial engineering principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a professional setting
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
