Lead Custodian Technician (Dallas–Fort Worth)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and surface sanitization.

• Lead and guide a team of custodians to meet daily cleaning schedules and standards.

• Assign tasks and provide direction to custodial staff during shifts.

• Conduct inspections of work areas and ensure quality control.

• Train new custodians on proper cleaning methods, safety procedures, and equipment use.

• Maintain accurate supply levels and request replenishment when needed.

• Ensure all custodial staff comply with safety protocols and workplace policies.

• Report facility maintenance needs or safety hazards to management.

• Serve as the main point of contact for custodial concerns during assigned shifts.

• Support and motivate team members to achieve high performance.

• Need to have reliable transportation to the following: Knox St., Southlake, NorthPark and Galleria Dallas

• Prior custodial/janitorial experience required.

• Leadership or team lead experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality standards.

• Physically able to perform custodial duties (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).

• Flexible availability, including evenings or weekends if required.
