About Scandic:

Scandic is the largest hotel operator in the Nordics, with around 280 hotels and 58,000 rooms across six countries. We’re on an exciting journey, growing stronger every day and reshaping how guests experience our brand. With strong momentum, we’re creating seamless, engaging and intuitive digital experiences that drive both business growth and customer loyalty.

You will be part of Group IT at our headquarters, a European function. Our HQ is situated in renovated spaces with a wonderful hotel vibe right by Hagaparken on Sveavägen in Stockholm. We enjoy spending time in the office but are a flexible workplace and offer a hybrid setup that suits our team members. Join our warm and inclusive culture and take part in our different social activities.

Scandic Hotels is highly committed and proactive when it comes to Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. We are also a responsible corporate citizen and actively engaged in sustainability efforts. Joining Scandic means becoming a force for good.

Scandic Tech Trainee Program:

The program spans over a year, starting in September 2026. You will build a solid foundation in IT and Tech while being part of either our CRM & Loyalty team or our Integration team. During the year, you will visit our hotels to gain a deeper understanding of our business and collaborate with different teams across our IT organization. You will be part of a small group of Tech Trainees and other young talents within our organization and engage in training and networking activities. You will be supported by your team lead, developers in your team, former tech trainees, a mentor and others around you. We customize the program as much as possible to set you up for success. The plan is for you to continue as a Software Engineer or technical specialist with us at Scandic after completing the program.

This year we will offer tech trainee seats in two different teams:

CRM & Loyalty team

In the CRM & Loyalty team, you will work at the core of our customer data and loyalty ecosystem. The focus is to ensure that we have the right data, in the right system, at the right time and that we use it to create real value for both guests and business. You will work with platforms such as Salesforce, Data Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics, Medallia and our loyalty engine, orchestrating data flows, building logic and supporting customer journeys across bookings, communication and loyalty. The role is hands on and broad, spanning from solution design and configuration to follow up and KPI tracking, with SQL, data modeling and structure as important foundations.

Integration team

In the Integration team, you will join a technical team specialized in system integrations, working on a modern Azure based integration platform using .NET, Logic Apps and Data Factory. The focus is to design and build robust, scalable integrations that connect our core systems across web, app, finance, HR, CRM, loyalty and partner ecosystems. You will gain a strong understanding of how systems interact in a large hospitality company and play an important role in enabling new digital initiatives.

Who are you?

You are at the beginning of your tech career and genuinely motivated to grow. You enjoy solving problems.

    We believe you:
