Introduction to the Aga Khan University:
Aga Khan Hospital, Karimabad invites applications for the position of Receptionist.
Job Role / Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- Facilitate the customers (i.e. patients and attendants) in the department;
- Book appointment over phone or in-person for procedures;
- Manage cash including the receipt of payments via debit/credit cards and cheques;
- Assist customer’s telephonic as well as walk in inquiries;
- Maintain all necessary record related to reception area;
- Train junior receptionists during their probation;
- Provide assistance to the supervisor in the quality audits;
- perform any other assignment given by the supervisor / department head.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree;
- 1-2 years of related work experience preferred;
- Cash handling skills;
- Good communication skills (both in English and Urdu);
- Ability to perform multiple functions effectively under work pressure;
- Good public relations and interpersonal skills;
- Good problem solving and trouble shooting skills;
- Willingness for shift and double duties.
