Project DeCaM :  DeCaM (Device Capability Mining) is an automated platform designed to simplify the process of identifying and extracting device capabilities from complex technical environments. It analyzes configuration files and capability parameters in a systematic way and converts raw, unstructured data into a structured and easy-to-understand format. This structured output gives a clear view of the device’s supported features and capabilities. By automating this process, DeCaM helps engineers and teams to analyze device capabilities faster and more accurately. It reduces manual work, minimizes human errors, and improves overall efficiency. This enables faster technical analysis and better decision-making.

Location: hybrid, Wroclaw

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces for the DeCaM platform using React (Vite), ensuring responsive and intuitive design
  • Build reusable React components and implement efficient state management to support the platform's features and functionality
  • Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL APIs to fetch and display device capability data efficiently
  • Collaborate with backend developers to define API requirements and ensure seamless data integration
  • Optimize frontend performance by implementing best practices for rendering, code splitting, and bundle optimization
  • Participate in research activities, brainstorming sessions, and technical meetings to support innovation and problem-solving
  • Work independently when required and also collaborate effectively with team members
     

Must-Have:

  • Active student status (minimum one year)
  • Good English language
  • Open to hybrid work from Wroclaw office
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for building modern, responsive web interfaces
  • Proficiency in JavaScript with understanding of ES6+ features and modern JavaScript concepts
  • Experience with React for building component-based user interfaces
  • Familiarity with Vite as a build tool and development environment
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to understand technical systems and suggest improvements
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
     

Nice-to-Have:

  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases is preferred
  • Knowledge of GraphQL for querying and managing data
  • Experience with Apollo GraphQL for implementing GraphQL clients
  • Familiarity with Monorepo architecture tools such as Nx is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of telecommunications concepts and protocols
  • Interest in automation, data processing, and system design
