Function
Your main responsibilities include:
- Designing and building SQL views to expose grid‑related datasets in a clean, structured and user‑friendly manner.
- Writing Python code to perform calculations and develop data transformations.
- Creating Databricks dashboards that present relevant operational insights to internal stakeholders.
- Reviewing peers' code to ensure quality, maintainability and consistency.
- Collaborating with data engineers and business experts to understand requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.
Your Profile
We are looking for a motivated student who meets the following criteria:
- Bachelor or Master or Phd (completed or ongoing) in Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a similar discipline (mandatory).
- Strong interest in working with SQL, Python, and data processing.
- Affinity with dashboarding and data visualization.
- Understanding of data modelling concepts is a plus.
- Language skills: fluent in English and/or Dutch and/or French.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and willingness to take ownership.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
