Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer at PEAK 15, you will contribute to designing and developing front-end and back-end solutions that deliver great user experiences. You’ll work closely with product managers, UI designers, and other developers to build and maintain applications that support our customers. This role also includes helping with production support and learning DevOps practices to improve our technology and processes.

You’ll assist in maintaining and updating existing applications, including supporting efforts to modernize them from .NET 4.7.2 to .NET 8 Core. We’re looking for someone eager to learn, collaborate, and grow in an Agile environment while contributing to projects that make a difference.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Applications: Implement front-end and back-end code, database scripts, and assist with production maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work with product managers, UI designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Production Support: Help monitor and support production systems as part of the team.
  • Learn and Apply DevOps Practices: Participate in testing and risk management, and contribute ideas for improving technology and processes.
  • Application Modernization: Support efforts to update applications from .NET 4.7.2 to .NET 8 Core.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Foundation: Familiarity with web UI frameworks (Razor or React), C#, MSSQL, and an interest in learning cloud technologies like Azure.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to work through challenges with guidance and collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Team-Oriented: Works well in a collaborative environment and is open to feedback and learning.
  • Agile Mindset: Comfortable working in an Agile environment and participating in team activities.
  • Communication: Clear and professional communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2–6 years of experience in software development, including exposure to front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in C#, web UI frameworks (Razor or React), and MSSQL.
  • Cloud Knowledge: Ability and desire to develop skills with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
