Position Overview: The Desktop Support Engineer will provide day-to-day local/remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues. The ideal candidate will ensure operational consistency across all shifts while providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for customer issues
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot Windows OS (XP, 7, 8.1, 10) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Perform hardware support: installation, maintenance and repairs of desktops, laptops, printers
  • Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents using helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex AV issues
  • Provide basic Mac operating system support for Apple users
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot network connectivity and workstation issues
  • Mentor and assist Band 0 technicians while supporting Band 2 Technicians

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
  • CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or better
  • Minimum 18 months of IT experience in Windows Desktop support
  • Experience with Windows 7-10, Active Directory, GPOs, MS Office 365
  • Knowledge of mobile device management (IOS/Android)
  • Enterprise anti-virus solutions and helpdesk ticketing systems
  • Fluent Russian and English (B2 level) required
