The client is seeking a Spring Boot Developer to contribute to the delivery of Java based REST API microservices aligned with the enterprise architecture roadmap. The role requires collaboration with technology teams to deliver business and technical solutions.Primary qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or a related field or equivalent experience. The candidate should have four to five years of experience working with Java REST API Spring Boot Kafka and JSON in a collaborative technology environment. Five or more years of experience is required in DevOps continuous in The candidate should have strong expertise in agile concepts and methodologies including Scrum and Kanban frameworks and demonstrate professionalism with the ability to build credibility and relationships with leadership team members and business stakeholders. The ability to overcome challenges deliver high quality results on schedule and within budget and communicate effectively across all organizational levels is essential. Experience in fraud technology is preferred.Technical requirements include hands on software development experience with Java Spring Boot web services and REST API development and consumption. The candidate should be familiar with agile development build processes testing and operations and have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. Proficiency in SQL is required along with experience working with relational databases such as Oracle MySQL and DB2 including SQL queries stored procedures and triggers.The role requires experience implementing microservices using Spring Boot along with CI CD tools such as Jenkins and Kubernetes. Experience developing RESTful web services using JAX RS and Swagger for API documentation is required. The candidate should have experience building and maintaining code repositories and managing code migrations using CI CD strategies. Experience with Apache Maven for automating application build processes is required. Knowledge and hands on experience with JWT mechanisms for authentication authorization and secure data exchange is expected along with experience using Swagger and API testing tools.Cloud experience includes hands on work with GCP infrastructure and GCP products such as Cloud Run Terraform Big Data and BigQuery.
