We're seeking a talented UI Developer (Director) specializing in Angular to join our team, with Java experience considered a strong plus. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive web user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in Angular and UI best practices, with experience integrating frontend applications with backend services. Familiarity with Java and RDBMS is a benefit. The role requires strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. A passion for writing clean, efficient code and excellent problem-solving skills are critical.

**What you'll do in the role:
- Build and maintain high-quality, responsive UI components using Angular.
- Collaborate in a global, virtual team with colleagues in NY and India, sometimes across multiple time zones.
- Take ownership of small/medium frontend applications or application components within client websites, ensuring timely delivery.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and deliver seamless user experiences.
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and strong teamwork skills.
- Manage multiple roles or projects concurrently, as needed.
- Commit to delivering on time with minimal supervision. **What you will bring to the role:
- At least 5 years' relevant experience in Angular development.
- Strong experience with UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Hands-on experience integrating Angular applications with RESTful APIs (Java backends a plus).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Java, Spring framework, and RDBMS (SQL Server preferred) is a plus.
- Understanding of design patterns in frontend development.
- Experience with other technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Python, or Perl is a bonus.

**Project Description:
Unified Order Entry (UOE) is a multi-asset order entry application for Investment Products and Solutions, supporting Fixed Income, Equity, Unit Investment Trusts (UIT), Mutual Funds, Syndicate, and Options. Used by Financial Advisors and CSAs, UOE provides efficient order entry for 6 asset classes, fallback mechanisms for equities and futures (with plans for all asset classes), dashboards for UIT and Syndicate, and Dense-UOE order support (up to 250 simultaneous orders for Equities, Mutual Funds, and UITs). The platform also features integrated Deal Management and allocation UI for Fixed Income Treasury auction support.
- Multi-asset coverage: Fixed Income, Equity, UIT, Mutual Funds, Syndicate, Options
- Fallback mechanisms for order continuity across asset classes
- Dashboards for UIT and Syndicate products
- High-density order processing (Dense-UOE) for bulk entry
- Integrated Deal Management and Fixed Income auction allocation UI
