We are currently seeking a Junior Software Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy!
Vertiv is seeking a Junior software engineer to support the development of its global thermal rating tool. In this role, you will be working in an Agile environment with a diverse team of engineers, developers and project managers located around the world to build a state-of-the-art calculation tool that is used to predict the performance of Vertiv’s thermal product offerings.
What kind of work will you be doing?
• Develop and support Vertiv GRS application ensuring performance and scalability, using the proper technology framework and adding new functionalities in accordance with product owner and direct manager
• Write and develop tests to ensure usability of proper solution
• Follow industry standard best practices and design principles to build a maintainable and scalable code base
• Stay up to date with new technologies
• Provide technical support to internal and external application users
What will make you successful?
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly
• 2+ years of related experience in full stack development
• Demonstrated capability with object-oriented principles, design patterns, data structures and in-depth knowledge of frameworks
• Experience with modern software development tools for continuous integration/deployment starting (version control, pipelines, project tracking…)
• Knowledge of debugging techniques to quickly resolve critical bugs
• Strong working experience in interfacing with JSON based REST APIs
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing Single Page Applications using Angular 13+ or similar reactive framework, TypeScript, HTML and SCSS
• 2+ years experience developing C# web application or similar OOP backend framework
• Knowledge of .NET core and later version of .NET (8+) using C#
• Experience in ASP.NET core and minimal API backend
• Experience in 17+ Angular version applications using most modern frameworks features (linked signals, standalone, …)
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles
• Basic knowledge of HVAC products
Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive team player.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and communication tools (MS Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
