Job Description

Your Opportunity – Major Projects Advisory

Applications are now open to join our Major Projects Advisory team for the 2027 Graduate Program intake.

Major Projects Advisory are trusted advisors for private, corporate, and government clients, and offer solutions for enhancing performance, mitigating risks, and creating value. We help clients solve complex problems in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring the overall strategic priorities and objectives are achieved.

Our teams work across a diverse range of sectors including transport, utilities, social infrastructure, city shaping and future focused industries. You’ll help governments and private industry clients with a range of advisory services including:

  • Major project transaction and commercial advisory;
  • Governance and investment decision making;
  • Project and program management;
  • Delivery and procurement strategies;
  • Policy advisory;
  • Asset management and optimisation; and
  • Data modelling and analytics.

As a Graduate in our Major Projects Advisory team, you’ll get to work across the lifecycle of programs and projects and provide advisory and delivery services to public, private and corporate clients. You’ll be helping clients to solve complex problems in an effective and efficient manner, ensuring their overall strategic priorities and objectives are achieved. Whilst no two days will be the same, you can expect to:

  • work closely with key government and private sector clients to plan, assess and deliver significant projects and programs;
  • interact directly with clients and key stakeholders;
  • develop and apply your management skills to help clients navigate through complex environments;
  • assist the team in the development of quantitative and qualitative analysis;
  • prepare and deliver high-quality written reports, presentations and client deliverables;
  • be part of a collaborative team environment in identifying key issues/risks and developing mitigation strategies and solutions, and provide industry leading advice;
  • stay abreast of industry trends and emerging practices to adapt strategies accordingly;
  • work alongside a team that acts with integrity and prioritises the wellbeing of their people; and
  • participate in business development, marketing activities and attend industry events.

Qualifications

You are a recent graduate or student in your final year of study and have:

  • a Tertiary qualification in business, economics, finance, engineering or a related discipline;
  • a strategic mindset and an understanding of and strong interest in advisory and consulting services;
  • a desire to be at the cutting edge of transformation and are prepared to assist our Major Projects Advisory Team in providing practical solutions that directly address the core issues of our clients’ businesses and yield innovative outcomes; and
  • a collaborative mindset and appreciate an environment that fosters innovation. You are motivated to find and solve challenging problems and are eager to be part of a firm that appreciates individuals who think outside the box for their clients and stakeholders.

This translates to you having:

  • clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with our client organisations and collaborate within the team.
  • problem solving skills including a logical and disciplined approach to deconstructing problems into their core issues;
  • a bias towards action and delivering outcomes;
  • empathy, integrity and strong interpersonal qualities;
  • strong academic results;
  • relevant hands on experience working in a fast paced and highly adaptive environment; and
  • eligibility to live and work in Australia (Australian citizens and permanent residents only).
