About the Project


The Sonata Application Support Analyst will be providing front line support for SONATA WM EMEA UK and SA clients like Fidelity, Liberty, Legal & General, Ascentric, Royal London. In addition, the Sonata Support Analyst will have responsibility for managing the client issue lifecycle; the analysis, replication and testing of identified defects with a solution-oriented approach; and escalating requests to the appropriate development and consulting teams.


What You’ll Do


The analysis and resolution of issues raised by Clients including.


  • Identify and resolve software defects and functionality gaps through systematic debugging
  • Perform data corrections and modifications in client databases as required
  • Address issues stemming from incorrect application usage or system misconfiguration
  • Respond promptly to client service requests and product defects in accordance with established SLAs
  • Triage, identify root cause and route defects, service requests, and enhancement requests to appropriate internal teams
  • Perform assessment and triage to identify root causes through systematic code debugging and data analysis
  • Escalate critical incidents to stakeholders when appropriate
  • Monitor incident progress and provide regular status updates to clients
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss incident management processes and support strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and data integrity within the JIRA
  • Support software release coordination activities for client deployments
  • Proactively escalate issues with potential cross-client impact
  • Perform routine technical housekeeping and administrative tasks

  •  2.5 years-5 years in a technical support or application development role
  • Strong understanding of application development best practices and methodologies
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with demonstrated ability to write complex queries and programs for large datasets
  • Capability to comprehend and analyze application code written in modern object-oriented programming languages
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with ITIL service delivery processes (Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management)
  • Experience working with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, AppDynamics
  • Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Background in business analysis, consulting, or system testing
  • Proven track record of delivering consultancy and technical support to clients
  • Willingness to travel between office locations and client sites as needed (primary location: Gurgaon)
  • Core Java with hands-on experience using Eclipse IDE
  • Working knowledge of Java frameworks including Hibernate, JSP/JSF, and web services
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with systematic problem-solving approach
  • Database expertise with solid SQL proficiency, preferably Oracle Database
  • Shift Timing- Morning (8 AM to 4:30 PM), Evening (2.30 PM to 11 PM), Night (Occasional) 10:30 PM to 7 AM.

  • Cloud platform experience (AWS or Azure)
