Company Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Hotel All-Rounder to work across our Front Office & Food & Beverage operations at Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments.
Ibis Melbourne Hotel & Apartments is a 250 room Hotel including Apartments with a lively Restaurant and three Conference spaces located near the vibrant Melbourne CBD and Queen Victoria Markets.
Job Description
- Provide personalised service and a memorable experience for our guests – every guest, every interaction, every day.
- Shifts in Food & Beverage & Front Desk
- Checking guests in and out Maintaining accurate guest accounts
- Taking bookings, providing helpful information & entering reservations
- Answering guests queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Efficiently in serving food & beverage for restaurant and conference rooms
- Breakfast service including buffet, and maintaining presentation of the restaurant
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front office reception experience preferable
- Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Are flexible and ready to work across a seven-day roster, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of beverages including barista coffee, cocktails and wines to be able to maximise average spend
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with attention to detail
