Prepares contracts and amendments for offshore rigs , together with contracts and amendments to incorporate products and services. As required, assist with preparation of international drilling contracts and MSA. Maintains direct interaction with the company’s internal departments and with Clients, who coordinate all administrative activities related to the contractual process, including contract close-out and settlement.
• Contractual role description – Will act as the Lessor’s Representative onshore.
• Shall have full authority to act on behalf of the Lessor and represent the Lessor in matters that may arise between PEP and the Lessor. Such authority must be granted through a duly executed public instrument (Power of Attorney – POA).
• Contractual designation – Must be available at the location designated by PEP, in any of the following cities: Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, or Dos Bocas, Tabasco; and be available to travel to any of the aforementioned locations, as well as offshore/onboard the assigned rig, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to ensure efficient contract administration and continuous operational performance.
• Coordinate with client personnel regarding the development of the various contract appendices to prevent non-compliance and avoid audit observations.
• Reconcile with the Client any suspension time attributable to Nabors that is under dispute.
• Supervise and closely follow up on “MR” (Risk Magnitude) items to minimize penalties related to failure to comply within established correction deadlines.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, Drilling Technician certification, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or any other engineering discipline (as required by contract).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling rigs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• 24/7 availability, 365 days per year.
• Intermediate and/or Advanced English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of drilling rig equipment.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Knowledge of drilling and well maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of applicable standards and current regulations (latest versions).
