We are seeking a finance professional who will reimagine how finance works in a modern telco—combining deep process expertise with AI-driven innovation. You will lead a total revamp of core finance processes—starting with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)—to deliver a target operating model where humans and AI collaborate seamlessly. Using process mining, lean methods, and human-in-the-loop controls, you will drive step-change improvements in cycle time, quality, compliance, and working capital while freeing teams to focus on higher-value decision support.

Key Responsibilities Process discovery and diagnostics

• Map end-to-end finance processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report) using process mining/task mining and value stream mapping.

• Identify bottlenecks, failure modes, and root causes using data-driven analysis and stakeholder interviews.

• Benchmark performance against industry standards and define a prioritized transformation backlog with quantified business cases.

Design and deliver reimagined target operating model (TOM)

• Define a future-state TOM that blends shared services, centers of excellence, and “human + AI” orchestration, including roles, skills, controls, and service levels.

• Establish a governance framework for human-in-the-loop oversight, model risk management, and change control.

• Build an Automation & AI roadmap tied to business value (working capital, cost-to-serve, close speed, control effectiveness).

Revamp AR and AP processes

• AR (Order-to-Cash): Modernize credit, billing, cash application, collections, and dispute management for telco-specific flows (prepaid/postpaid, device financing, commissions, interconnect/roaming settlements). Deploy predictive collections, automated cash app, intelligent dunning, and self-service payment/dispute portals to reduce DSO and write-offs.

• AP (Procure-to-Pay): Modernize vendor onboarding, e-invoicing, 3-way match, and payments. Implement intelligent document processing, touchless invoice processing, exception triage by AI agents, dynamic discounting, and supplier portals to reduce cycle time and capture discounts.

AI, automation, and agent-based solutions

• Design and implement agentic AI solutions (e.g., agentiAI or similar frameworks) for exception handling, reconciliations, variance investigations, and knowledge retrieval—always with human-in-the-loop approval.

• Deploy RPA/IPA, process mining, and generative AI copilots for controllers, AP/AR analysts, and FP&A teams.

• Establish data and model governance (access control, PII protections, audit trails) and performance monitoring (precision/recall, error rates, bias checks).

• Embed controls into automated workflows (segregation of duties, vendor master controls, approval hierarchies).

• Address telco-specific risks: revenue recognition (IFRS 15/ASC 606), leases (IFRS 16), interconnect/roaming settlements, usage/call detail record integrity, fraud, and reseller/commission controls.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance operations/finance transformation, ideally within telecoms or adjacent subscription/usage-based industries.

• Demonstrated ownership of AR/AP transformations and measurable working capital improvements.

• Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report, telco billing constructs (prepaid/postpaid, devices, bundles), and interconnect/roaming settlements.

• Hands-on with process improvement

• Practical experience deploying automation (RPA/IPA) and AI/ML in finance with human-in-the-loop controls and model governance.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI platforms (e.g., agentiAI or similar) for orchestrating multi-step finance tasks with human oversight.

• Background in telecom revenue assurance, mediation/CDR integrity, churn/collections strategies, and fraud analytics.

• Certifications: CPA/CIMA/CA or MBA; PMP/Agile certifications; AI/ML or data analytics credentials.

• Exposure to OCR, LLM-based copilots, and knowledge management systems.

• Experience operating within Global Business Services/Shared Services and building Automation/AI Centers of Excellence.

Tools and Technologies (indicative)

• ERP: SAP S/4HANA or Oracle Fusion; billing systems common to telco environments.

• Automation: RPA/IPA platforms; IDP/OCR; workflow/orchestration tools.

• AI: Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., agentiAI), LLM copilots, model governance tooling.

• Analytics: Process mining, BI dashboards, data quality tools.
