The Family Office Management group is seeking a Reporting Analyst for their Consolidated Reporting team. Responsibilities include analysis and reconciliation of client data as well as monthly/quarterly client reporting. This individual will perform this role with minimal supervision. This position requires experience in financial reporting, a strong understanding of controls necessary for consistent high-quality report delivery, and an understanding of investment strategies and ROI/IRR calculations.
Strong analytical and communication skills are needed due to the high level of interaction with management and the business community to define scope, requirements and business processes. Strong writing and presentation skills are required to create user documentation and assist in training of end-users on the developed applications and business processes. Also expected in this role is ongoing support to business users as well as assistance in training for new employees. Technical knowledge is needed to work with development and quality assurance teams to design, develop and test applications and business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Data input and reconciliation of various investment accounts within aggregation software, including marketable securities and cash equivalents
- Assist with daily, monthly and ad hoc data quality processes
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of third-party vendor system
- Execute tasks associated with recurring and ad hoc data audits
- Support senior team members with business process development and implementation
- Review and update of related processes and procedures to guarantee standardized output
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
- Professional certifications (i.e. CIPM, CFA) preferred but not required
- One to three years of relevant prior work experience in financial services industry
- Understanding of relational databases and working knowledge of SQL
- Operations, trust/accounting, Global Plus, report design, data analysis, programming experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
The base salary range for this position is $75K - $115K. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.
In addition, this position may be eligible for a discretionary incentive-based bonus based on individual and company performance.
Eligible employees may participate in a 401 (K) program with a company profit sharing contribution, medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability covering and paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
