PRODUCT PRICING ANALYST I

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

Roles & Responsibility:

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Manage price requests and global customer RFQs, including pricing, margin, and profitability analysis.
• Download, maintain, and upload pricing data within ERP systems.
• Recommend pricing actions and identify opportunities for margin improvement.
• Develop a strong understanding of the channel-to-market structure.
• Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of Book Price.
• Identify and drive corrective actions for low-margin business.
• Monitor agreement performance and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify and investigate pricing leakage at the transactional level.
• Use advanced analytics to surface pricing issues and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance reporting and metrics dashboards.
• Explore next‑level pricing capabilities (e.g., competitive analysis, AI, cross‑functional data integration).
• Implement pricing strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate effectively to support team goals and reinforce a strong teamwork culture.
• Identify areas for improvement and reduce inefficiencies in routine processes.
• Follow Delegation of Authority guidelines for all pricing approvals.

 

 

SKILLS

• Ability to balance stakeholder needs (Sales, Product Management, Finance, Customers).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify and articulate complex concepts.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including charts and data visualization.
• Strong ability to summarize data and tell a clear business story.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to explain pricing processes clearly and confidently.
• Effective peer‑to‑peer and cross‑functional communication.
• Stakeholder communication across Sales, PM, Finance, Customers (indirect), and Customer Service.
• Strong PC skills, including expert-level Microsoft Office and working knowledge of databases and advanced Excel applications.
• Ability to understand pricing and operational concepts and apply them to drive results.
• Experience with SAP, PROs and/or other advanced pricing software is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

• College degree in economics, finance, statistics, business or comparable experience
• 2 years of experience in pricing or equivalent type role
