- Permanent opportunity
- Sydney based
- Hybrid role - 2-3 days in office
- Sound expense management experience in banking or financial services, including a detailed understanding of expense drivers and how these interplay with the broader financial management of the business
- Critical thinking, strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills, focussing on risks and opportunities to drive commercial value
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work through complexity, identify and implement process improvements in a central finance function.
Preferred
- Business partnering in banking or financial services
- Familiarity with Finance data and tools e.g. GL, TM1
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks (e.g. Financial Control), Sarbanes-Oxley and business controls & monitoring activities
