- Wedgwood Library-3816 Kimberly Ln, Fort Worth, TX 76133 (19 hours per week with no benefits)
- Ridglea Library-3628 Bernie Anderson, Fort Worth, TX 76116 (29 hours per week with partial benefits)
 Workdays & Hours: Schedules are below for the Wedgwood Library and Ridglea Library locations; Some evening/weekend work required.             Â

- Monday: 4:15 pm - 8:15 pm                Â

The Fort Worth Public Library is hiring a part-time Library Page at the Wedgwood Library and Ridglea Library to provide great customer service while keeping library materials sorted and shelved in proper order.
The ideal candidate is friendly, helpful, extremely organized, enthusiastic about bringing library services to all members of the community, and comfortable working with diverse populations including people of all ages, backgrounds, dispositions, and abilities.
Minimum Qualifications:Â
- Less than a high school diploma/GED
- No prior experience required
- Must pass physical
 Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Ability to communicate with customers in Spanish
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
- Ability to work at/travel to various locations
- Library experience
 The Library Page job responsibilities include:
- Providing friendly, efficient, and professional service to customers
- Packing, unpacking, and sorting library materials
- Emptying the book-drop and checking in materials using a computer
- Shelving books in alphabetical, chronological, or numerical order
- Maintaining shelved books to ensure accuracy and proper placement
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, repetitive motions, climbing, balancing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
Medium work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects.
