Position Responsibilities/Standards: General
- Attend department, clinic or company meetings as required
- Consistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.
- Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.
- Complete required annual in-service programs and education as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.
- Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintains accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in the electronic and manual systems as established by regulations and practice policies.
- Prepares patients for procedures and educates patient/family members on process.
- Protects patient, self, and other staff from radiation standards.
- Takes images following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Adjusts/sets controls and takes images per provider requests.
- Checks images for clarity, retaking when needed. Transmits images to databases.
- Performs quantity and quality control checks to ensure units meet standards required by laws, rules, and departmental policies. Maintains all required records.
- Provides excellent customer service at all times. Acts as a team player. Identifies areas to assist other team members with patient care, balances the workload when needed, and actively supports the overall success of the clinic.
- Must be ARRT R.T.(R) certified, and have an active Ohio Radiography license.
- Must be friendly, courteous and have good communication skills when greeting patients.
