Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and process daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations, to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Collaborate with senior finance members to assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights on financial performance.
  • Assist with tax preparation and ensure timely submission of tax filings, including VAT/GST, sales tax, etc.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations of financial data.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting department.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field like  M.Com, MBA finance, CA Inter, ACCA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ZOHO books) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 3-5 years of experience maximum.
