Sr Project Accountant

Keeley Construction is looking for a Sr Project Accountant to join our Accounting Group in St. Louis, MO.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up new jobs & prime contracts in CMIC. 
• Create monthly Lump Sum, T&M and GMP owner billings utilizing AIA documents, including all required backup based on owner contract, posting billings timely and accurately. 
• Review owner contracts for required billing, lien waiver, and other accounting related responsibilities. 
• Final review and approval of all assigned project related supplier & subcontractor invoices utilizing hh2 Document Flow to ensure costs are posted timely & accurately. 
• Approval of weekly check runs to ensure all suppliers and subcontractors are paid within terms. 
• Prepare, collect, and monitor all appropriate lien waivers necessary for release of payments. 
• Assist vendors and subcontractors when inquiring on invoice/payment status. 
• Print job reports for projects managers as necessary 
• Monitor accounts receivable status and assist with collection if necessary. 
• Reconcile all job billings monthly. 
• Assist Project Managers with other job cost related tasks. 

 Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction accounting experience is required. 
• Familiarity with pay applications is required. 
• CMIC experience preferred. 
• Procore & HH2 experience a plus. 
• Full-cycle AP and AR experience a plus.
