Rapyd is seeking a skilled Network and Security Engineer to help transform and restructure our network systems as we expand globally. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to shape the future of a fast-growing fintech.

You’ll design and maintain hybrid infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments, ensure secure connectivity, optimize performance, and automate network tasks. As part of our global transformation, you'll play a key role in building and securing new systems.


Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and manage hybrid network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Implement and maintain secure, high-availability connectivity solutions (e.g., VPNs, Direct Connect).
  • Collaborate with cloud architects to optimize network performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
  • Ensure adherence to security policies and standards, including encryption protocols and access control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Automate network configuration, provisioning, and monitoring processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation and facilitate seamless cross-team integration.

Requirements

Required:

  • 4+ years of network engineering experience in both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF) and networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (preferably AWS) and VPN/ZTNA technologies.
  • Proficiency in network automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Strong skills in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and working with Linux/Windows servers.


Preferred:

  • Cloud certifications, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native applications.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability (HA) solutions.
  • Familiarity with network security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
