Based in Winnipeg, reporting to the Senior Director of Portfolio Reporting, this role offers the unique opportunity to have national impact while working within a collaborative and well-established Client Reporting team. As the Manager Real Estate Valuation, you will oversee real estate valuations and analytics for a $9.2B national portfolio, lead a high performing team, and play an integral role in the broader portfolio reporting function.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and facilitate monthly valuation committee meetings to drive informed decision-making.
• Transform data into meaningful, actionable insights using advanced analytics tools.
• Review and interpret property appraisals for accurate accounting treatment and timely resolutions of discrepancies.
• Collaborate with regional GWLRA offices nationwide to monitor, analyze, and report on valuation metrics.
• Deliver monthly summaries of valuation changes and portfolio insights to Senior Leadership.
• Conduct cash-flow analysis and modeling to support strategic decisions across asset classes.
• Prepare comprehensive portfolio-level reporting packages.
• Lead a centralized services team of two responsible for data uploads and accounting transactions for client teams.
• Manage the engagement, coordination and quality of third-party client appraisals.
• Ensure effective communication, timely project kick-off, and alignment on deadlines across teams.
• Manage the coordination and delivery of source files to external appraisers.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Background in valuations, financial analysis, real estate, or portfolio reporting.
• 2+ years experience managing others, formally or informally.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analytic tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and internal customer service skills with the proven ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• CPA or CFA designation is an asset or active enrollment in a recognized program will be considered.
• Experience with Argus, Yardi and Power BI would be an asset.
