The Android Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that meet business needs. This role offers the opportunity to work as a mid-level or senior developer, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
- Participate in the entire mobile app development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of Android applications.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree BE, B Tech, MSC IT, MCA (Computer Engineering)
- 1-3 years of experience as an Android Developer or similar role, with a focus on Kotlin.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming and Android development frameworks.
- Experience with Android development tools, such as Android Studio.
- Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of mobile app security, performance optimization, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services and backend integration.

- The position may require occasional on-call or after-hours work to address urgent issues.
