Coder - KC CODING

Under the general supervision of the Kadlec Clinic Billing Manager, analyzes, codes, and compiles medical records to document patient condition and treatment in Family Practice, Specialty Practice, Hospital and ASC settings.   The Clinic - Coder, Certified – Level II will audit Provider documentation and provide continuous, meaningful provider feedback.

Required Qualifications: 

• Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders upon hire or, 
• Certification from American Health Information Management Association upon hire. 
• 3 years - Related experience and/or training. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• 5 years - Recent, related experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
