System Engineer

We're looking for a System Engineer who will be responsible for defining system-level architectures and mechatronic concepts, ensuring the seamless integration of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. The role focuses on end-to-end system development and coordination across multiple technical domains to support innovative vehicle and e-mobility products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system-level architectures and mechatronic concepts

• Define technical, functional, and system-level requirements based on stakeholder needs

• Coordinate electrical/electronic (E/E) interfaces and onboard systems

• Support system integration through system- and vehicle-level testing

• Coordinate development activities with internal engineering teams and external suppliers

• Own and maintain system-level technical documentation

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product development process

Requirements

• Professional experience in systems engineering within automotive, e-mobility, or mechatronics environments

• Strong background in requirements engineering and system architecture

• Solid knowledge of E/E systems and onboard vehicle architectures

• Hands-on experience supporting system and vehicle testing activities

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Occasional on-site presence at the client location in Munich is required
