Description
Join us as an IT Manager in Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest!Key Responsibilities
· Supervising and maintaining the hotel's IT systems, networks, and devices in accordance with Kempinski standards· All Corporate IT related policies and procedures have been implemented and a successful self audit has been carried out· In cooperation with all other department heads; design and implement new computer based procedures that will improve profitability, operations and work efficiencies· Coordinate the installation of all new applications or upgrades of existing applications· Coordinate and review all new software development specific to the hotel, in accordance to Kempinski policies and standards· Take direction from the Corporate IT department as it relates to the technical operation of computer technology hardware and software· Ensuring the availability of devices and technologies used by guests· Overseeing the security of IT systems· Ensure that all 24/7 systems (i.e. front office, point of sale, email and internet) are monitored and that technical service is available any time· Providing user support for various departments · Coordinating software updates, permissions management, and data security processes· Responsible for timely preparation and submission of all IT budgets· Responsible for the management and control of all IT budgets according to an agreed plan and budget· Liaising with external service providers and vendors· Creating and keeping system documentation up to date· Communicate status, risks and opportunities as it relates to IT to Corporate & Regional IT, General Manager and Hotel Management
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
· University degree in Information Technology· Knowledge of the following: GDPR / PCI-DSS / CIS standards, MS Cloud, Azure, Office365· Familiarity with hotel-specific systems (e.g., Opera, Micros)· At least 5 years of experience in a similar role· Proficiency in Windows Server and networking· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills· Fluency in Hungarian and professional level of English, both verbal and written· Flexible, service-oriented mindset· Guest-centric approach· Agility
