Senior Data Modeller (Temporary Opportunity up to 6 months)

In this role, you'll:

•    Rapidly absorb existing enterprise and domain data models and apply them effectively in delivery

•    Translate conceptual and logical data models into optimised physical data designs

•    Work hands‑on with developers, solution/data architects, and vendors to ensure correct implementation

•    Ensure consistent use of identifiers, reference data, audit fields, and history across all data solutions

•    Review, validate, and correct data designs to prevent divergence from the target architecture

•    Confidently analyse and work with legacy data models and transition patterns during modernisation

•    Support delivery teams by embedding the data architecture into solution development.

About you

•    Extensive experience in logical and physical data modelling in complex environments

•    Strong, current hands‑on expertise with SPARX Enterprise Architect

•    Proficiency with modelling tools used within the organisation

•    Deep understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical modelling principles

•    Demonstrated experience implementing models in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)

•    Comfortable operating within regulated, highly governed, or complex business domains

•    Experience supporting API‑driven or microservices‑based architectures (nice to have)

•    Experience with legacy platforms, data migration, and transition patterns (nice to have).
