Who We're Looking For
We're building Supio's Integrations team – the engineers who connect Supio to the systems law firms already use. As an Integration Engineer, you'll build and maintain the connectors, adapters, and data pipelines that make Supio work seamlessly with practice management platforms, document storage systems, and strategic partners. This is pragmatic, high-impact engineering. You'll work with external APIs you don't control, handle edge cases and data inconsistencies, and debug production issues under partner pressure. You take pride in making things work reliably in the real world.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain integrations with external platforms.
- Develop connectors, adapters, and façade layers that translate between Supio and partner systems.
- Implement data synchronization pipelines (bi-directional sync, webhooks, polling) for matters, documents, and case data.
- Debug production issues and resolve partner escalations quickly and thoroughly.
- Write clear integration documentation and technical guides for partners and internal teams.
- Handle edge cases, data transformations, and error handling for real-world data quality issues.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Manager/Lead to estimate work, track progress, and meet delivery commitments.
- Contribute to integration patterns and best practices for the team.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience consuming and integrating with external REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or similar languages.
- Experience with data transformation, mapping, and handling inconsistent data.
- Familiarity with webhook implementations and event-driven patterns.
- Strong debugging skills; comfortable tracing issues across system boundaries.
- Clear written communication skills in English; able to document integrations and escalate issues effectively.
- Comfort working in a distributed team across time zones.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Salesforce, Litify platforms, and/or Smart Advocate.
- Background in B2B SaaS integrations or connector development.
- Familiarity with legal technology or practice management systems.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
- Prior experience in startups or fast-paced environments with external dependencies.
