About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Finance Interns to join Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Manage daily cost control tasks, including beverage spoilage posting, inventory depletion, transfers, and discount recording.
  • Monitor banquet and event beverage consumption, ensuring accurate postings and reporting.
  • Conduct regular spot checks, audits, and stock takes for outlets, special events, and themed nights.
  • Prepare monthly reports, including menu engineering, inventory variance, and cost of sales reconciliation.
  • Support accurate financial tracking through discount analysis, journal vouchers, and compliance with finance directives.
  • Contribute to cost efficiency by maintaining strong attention to detail and assisting with additional duties as required.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a university or a recent graduate of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hospitality
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong Excel working knowledge
  • Good Time Management skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
