Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for an experienced and committed Laboratory Technician – Material Testing to join our team based at our Epping Recycling Facility. This is a hands-on role ensuring data and analysis results are in accordance with our company policies.
 

In your new role with us, you will:

• Conduct specialist testing of construction samples and recording/reporting test results.

• Maintain test equipment as per OHS/WHS standards and legislation.

• Provide high level data analysis and reporting on compliant and non-compliant results.

• Ensure all plant equipment is maintained at a high standard and operated with Zero Harm philosophy.
   

This role is a great fit if you:

• Have a strong knowledge and understanding of modern Lab Instrumentation.

• Hold extensive knowledge across construction material sampling testing methods and processes.

• Have experience with concrete/Asphalt operations and technology (highly regarded)

• Current Driver's License

• Hold a professional work ethic with a customer service-oriented attitude

• Are results focused, self –motivated and take pride in your work

• Have experience with a civil or building industry (highly regarded)

• Possess a positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures

• Have strong attention to detail and strong housekeeping standards
   

What we offer:

• From $33.75per hour, pending experience/qualifications, plus penalties, plus super

• Daily allowance of $32.27 per day

• Overtime on offer pending the current business cycle

• This is a Monday – Friday role, generally 6am – 4pm, with rostered half day Saturdays
