First Choice Diagnostic (FCD) is looking for an independent, reliable self-starter for casual work. There will be approximately 2-5 shift per quarter, in addition to callout jobs, with no experience required and full training being provided. You will be rostered in advance based on your availability and may be required to participate in a 24-hour on-call period (5:00am – 5:00am) in line with operational and customer needs. The job entails performing impartial testing for drugs and alcohol at construction, transport, and other heavy industry sites around Millicent, Mt Gambier, Mildura and surrounding areas.

THIS IS NOT YOUR USUAL 9-5pm MONDAY-FRIDAY JOB!

• Shifts are approximately 3-4 hours long
• No experience needed!
• Driving in your own vehicle to and from sites and to the lab is required
• Shifts scheduled based on your availability
• Some blanket test sessions may be required and can take longer than 3-4 hours in duration
• You will work independently, reporting to the Sydney office by mobile phone and email

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, integrity and empathy
• Detail-oriented and reliable, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
• Ability to adapt to changing environments
• Self-starter and the ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate via mobile phone, email and using the internet (including hot-spotting and printing)
