For over 55 years we’ve been championing neurodiversity, creating learning and therapy environments where autistic people are respected, understood and empowered to thrive. Our teams work with curiosity, compassion and evidence informed practice — and we’re looking for someone who shares that energy.

About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate, confident leader to step into the role of Manager Client Services & Support (CSS). If you love building relationships, supporting teams and improving service pathways, this role offers the chance to make a real difference across Queensland.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and support the CSS team to deliver neuro-affirming, person‑centred support.
  • Help families navigate AQ and external services, including more complex situations.
  • Build strong relationships with sector partners and contribute to key reports and submissions.
  • Oversee complex case management and complaints processes with care and clarity.
  • Support improvements to communication systems, engagement processes and service accessibility.
  • Identify new funding and program opportunities aligned with AQ’s strategy.
  • Coach internal teams to embed inclusive, consumer‑focused practices.

What You Bring

  • Qualifications in education, allied health or a related field.
  • Experience supporting autistic people and/or developing services in Disability or Education sectors.
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Understanding of neuro-affirming practice and the external environment shaping disability and education services.

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

  • NDIS Worker Screening & Blue Card (or exemption).
  • First Aid & CPR certification.
  • Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • Driver’s licence or ability to travel (some overnight travel may occur).

Why you’ll love working with us:

  • We know life’s about balance, so we’ve packed in plenty of perks to keep you feeling great, staying healthy and loving what you do:
  • Up to $18,000 salary packaging, including entertainment benefits
  • Novated leasing options through Eziway
  • Medibank Private health insurance discounts
  • Strong professional development pathways
  • Fitness Passport for you + immediate family
  • Access to Practice Excellence for clinical supervision and mentoring
  • Access to the latest research
  • Meaningful work supporting autistic people and their communities
  • AccessEAP support: counselling, nutritional, legal and financial services
