Description
abra’s Data & AI division is expanding, and we’re looking for a skilled and motivated BI / Data Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative data projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape data-driven strategies across industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ETL processes in Azure with diverse data sources
- Design, manage, and optimize cloud-based data environments
- Build and optimize scalable Data Warehouses
- Write complex SQL queries and perform performance tuning
- Work with Data Lakes, parallel job execution, and cloud Big Data architectures
- Develop cloud-based AI solutions, including Generative AI models
- Perform data modeling and analytics using Power BI
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in BI / Data Engineering, with strong database orientation
- Advanced SQL skills (MERGE, dynamic SQL, loops, performance optimization)
- Experience working with JSON and non-tabular data sources
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Ability to work independently with strong self-learning skills
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric – significant advantage
- Experience with Python – significant advantage
- Experience with Generative AI models – significant advantage
