Position Summary:

TransPerfect is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Quantitative Analyst to join our team in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will support our data-driven decision-making process through rigorous quantitative analysis. Responsibilities:

Perform quantitative analysis to support business decisions, utilizing statistical methods and data modeling techniques.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
Assist in the development and implementation of analytical tools and processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quantitative analysis methodologies.

Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistical methods.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, or similar.
Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets and communicate findings clearly.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role or internship in quantitative analysis.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their applications.
