TestEquity is searching for an energetic Inventory Control Specialist to help monitor and report on the company’s inventory. This position will be responsible for working with the Inventory Control team on daily tasks. Applicants should have experience with cross-function communication as they will coordinate with the Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance teams.
A successful candidate will be a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping and investigative abilities while having a strong attention to detail and solid business acumen. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory by adjusting in CSD
Use CSD to print and execute cycle counts
Work with internal departments to ensure inventory discrepancies and order-related errors are resolved quickly
Review the logistics of inventory and equipment management to ensure adequate product availability
Review and maintain inventory database using CSD
Indirectly and directly responsible for product quality
All other duties as assigned
QualificationsEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to grasp, pull and lift products from shelving
Ability to operate/drive power industrial equipment
Ability to read/write in English is required
MS Office proficiency
Aptitude to analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources and to derive correlations from that data
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
